Mundana is a local fashion store located in  Los Cipreses Street 500 (Victor Larco District) Trujillo – Peru. The owner is a young women with a high sense of fashion that import clothes and accesories from Argentina, one of the Latin America Fashion Capitals.

Mundana  is alternative within the fashion, aimed at young women, bohemian, romantic, rock and feminine with a strong edge attitude, characterized by mark each style and trend.

If you want to buy high quality, indpendent design and beautiful stuff this is the hot spot!

Zully Varsai / Fashion Designer

Zully Varsai is a local fashion designer from Trujillo, she studied at the CEAM (Centre of Fashion Studies), in the city of Lima. She participated in diferents fashions shows, include In Spain and Portugal presented a costume inspired by the Goddess Chimú.

She has received awards and business achievements recognized by the best designer Golden Muchik price 2008,2009 and 2010 entrepreneur of the moment. Trophy to the designer of the Moment by Antenor Orrego Private University and the Cesar Vallejo University.

Currently runs his company and Atelier, Zully Vargas Saito and she opened a new atelier in Nuevo Chimbote, another city next to Trujillo.

The House of Kusiruna

Kusiruna (Chocolate & Cupcake Factory) is a special place in Trujillo (Av. Larco 1023) where people can enjoy the pleasure of eat, smell, see, touch and love chocolates.

Truffles, chocolates filled with cheesecake, Cupcakes, Palettes chocolate covered marshmallows, desserts generally catering to all kinds of sweet and savory snacks.

They also sell teddy bears and gift boxes for special ocassion with personal messages on the cupcakes or truffles, very nice designed by owners, a couple of girls that create a handmade products in this store, it a must in this city!

Delicious Flavors From The Peruvian Beaches

This collague is the resume of last summer in the north coast beaches of Peru like Los Organos,Vichayito,Mancora, Punta Sal and Zorritos (Piura & Tumbes regions).

The peruvian gastronomy is very rich thanks to a big fusion of cultures that arrive to the country long time ago, thats the reason why Peru was choosen World’s Leading Culinary Destination 2012 by World Travel Awards.

Mistura food fair is the largest in Latin America (Lima-Perú). Exotic drinks, magic sunsets, perfect weather all year, beautiful people, enjoy the food of hotels restaurants like nikkei food (japanese/peruvian) at DCO Hotel. Happy Hour at the Mancora Marina Hotel bar full of fresh exotic fruits for cocktails, or just enjoy a romantic dinner in the beautiful La Sirena de Juan restaurant with the most yummy italian/peruvian flavor.

 

Green Square In The Desert

Chan Chan is an archaeological site located in the peruvian region of La Libertad, 5 km west of Trujillo city, it was build by the largest Pre-Columbian city in South America, The Chimu, around AD 850 and conquest by the Inca empire in AD 1470.

The vast adobe city of Chan Chan covers an area of approximately 20 km² and had a urban center of about 6 km². It was added as a UNESCO World Heritage Site on November 28 of 1986.

Closer to the area is a local museum that expose some artefacts and representation of the kind of life that chimus people had long time ago in the middle of the desert.

“Somewhere Over The Rainbow”

Huaca Arco Iris (Temple of the Rainbow) is also called names like Temple of the Centipede (Horkheimer, 1944); Temple of the Dragon (Schaedel, 1948) and the Golden Wall. This beautiful structure is located in La Esperanza district, in Trujillo- Perú.

This temple belongs to the preinca culture, called Chimu or Chimor ( 1000 y 1200 AC.), the decoration was inspired by the rainbow, symbol of fertility and rains.

The temple is protected with walls from the city that surround it, inside this area is a little store where you can buy souvenirs or just enjoy the beautiful flowers, breath and relax.
